About the Role

As a Contract Administrator, you will serve as a key legal professional within the project department of our client, a leading EPC company. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure smooth contract operations from initial drafting through to final execution. You will play a crucial role in preventing disputes and ensuring strict adherence to all critical legal and commercial terms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the comprehensive drafting, meticulous review, and strategic negotiation of various contracts, including EPC contracts, subcontracts, and service agreements.
  • Ensure that all contracts are properly executed, accurately recorded, and diligently maintained throughout their entire lifecycle.
  • Provide essential support for contract interpretation, guaranteeing full compliance with all stipulated legal and commercial terms.
  • Proactively track all contract deliverables, obligations, and key milestones to effectively mitigate the risks of disputes or penalties.
  • Collaborate closely with the Commercial/Legal Manager to develop the overall strategic plan for contracting processes and ensure the efficient execution of contracts as guided by Management.

Candidate Requirements

  • A relevant Bachelor’s degree (LLB, B.Eng, HND) in Engineering, Project Management, Law, or a closely related technical field.
  • A minimum of 8 to 10 years of proven professional experience as a Contracts Analyst or Administrator, specifically gained within Oil & Gas, Energy, Telecommunication Engineering, or Construction Projects.
  • Possess a strong, comprehensive understanding of engineering and construction contract management principles.
  • Proficiency in international trade terms.
  • Demonstrated skills in Engineering or Construction Project Management.
